Many times we have offers to buy different products, many of them consumables, some of them tools and some still for entertainment.

Many times when we buy, what we buy is at it's highest value at the point of purchase. Once in a while however, we have the opportunity of buying into something that have a bigger future than the present value.

Futuristic Purchases

When Andy Bechtolsheim paid the two Google founders $100,000 as his investment in their unregistered enterprise, he wasn't buying into the company that hadn't made any money, or the company whose founders had not discovered how to make money. He was buying into a future that he could see.

When Peter Thiel invested in facebook, all it had was a future. The future was the vision of the leadership and their commitment to pursing their possibilities. When Bill Gates dropped out of school, it wasn't because of the software he needed to create, it was because of the vision of technology he saw that was seeking expression.

When I became committed with A2W, it wasn't because of the fact that it had 4,000 distributors then, or the fact that we would have 26,000 distributors in Nigeria today. What got me was the future. "You've heard it before: the '90s is shaping up as "The Decade of Network

Marketing."

Network Marketing is considered by many to be America's fastest-growing

method of marketing and distribution. It's growing at a rate of between 20 and 30 percent per year, independent of the broad economic cycle of recession and

expansion.

An estimated 10 to 12 million individuals are participating in the industry in

America alone. With the extraordinary growth of Network Marketing in Canada,

Mexico, the Pacific Basin, the Far East and Europe, this number could easily

When franchising began 20 years ago, people questioned its viability and

Network Marketing Vs. Franchises

In Network Marketing, you don't have employees. You, and everyone you sponsor into the business, are independent contractors.

thing. How many people is that? Well, now you have three levels: you, the five

Well, you see what's going to happen. An organization of hundreds, even

thousands, can be built in a relatively short period of time.

Of course, not everyone you or your people sponsor into the business will be a

Residual Income

For most people, residual income is an elusive dream. If you weren't born rich,

don't have the talent or even "luck" to be an inventor, musician or performer, or

don't have the good fortune to have a half-million dollars lying around to invest in stocks or real estate, the door to residual income is all but closed to you.

As far as I know, the only place where ordinary people can make extraordinary

money is the residual income possible from building a Network Marketing

business.

Now, we all have a very personal definition of what it means to be wealthy. One

person's goal of an "extra little" $1,000 is another person's outrageous fortune.

But enduring, increasing wealth is possible in Network Marketing. I personally

know many millionaires, and many more thousandaires, who are earning residual income after only one to four years in their own Network Marketing business.

What's more, this is a concept highly successful people appreciate immediately.

They know the value of residual income. That's why they can see the possibilities of a part- or full-time Network marketing career right away. This is one reason why more and more professional and managerial people are entering our business.

Business researchers estimate that over the next five years, as much as 30 percent of middle management will be out of work, replaced by computers, corporate cost cutting, and improved management/employee systems and communications.

According to the latest projections, by the mid-1990's, twice as many people will be holding down two or more jobs as a result.

Working Women

I'm certain you're aware of the tremendous trend of women entering and

re-entering the workplace. Many things have changed in corporate America – but women still earn less than their male counterparts. This is especially true in

managerial positions, where the "glass ceiling" prevents them from getting to the top of traditionally male-dominated industries.

There isn't any ceiling for women in Network Marketing.Industry experts state that 65 percent or more of Network Marketers are women. The reason for this is not simply the growing economic pressure to become a two-income family. Women are attracted to Network Marketing for two reasons.

1. There are no barriers of sex, education or experience in this industry.

2. Network Marketing is perfect for most women.

Here's why:

Network Marketing is a "nurturing" business. It's built by forming relationships

where you care for others and encourage them to succeed. That's why the most

successful group of people entering Network Marketing are female teachers.

Combine their teaching skill with their ability to recommend products and

services, and you've got a dynamite marriage for success.

The fact is, women are better talkers and explainers than men. Now please, don't

be upset with me. This is a fact. Researchers at the Harvard Preschool Program

studied little boys and girls and found that only 68 percent of what came out of a little boy's mouth were words. The other 32 percent was just noise. You know,

motor sounds, "uh" or "Mmm," spurts, pops, "brrruuums," "varooms," and

"buh-buh-buhs." On the other hand, every sound the little girls made were actual words!

And I love this one. That same survey found that the average man speaks

approximately 12,5000 words per day. How many for the average woman?

25,000! Let me tell you a story that illustrates this.

A friend was consulting with a business friend of his in his home-office when his five-year-old son burst through the door. We were having an important meeting, but the little boy interrupted anyway.

"Daddy, Daddy, I've gotta ask you an important question."

His father was very short with him. They had a rule at their house that Daddy was not to be disturbed when he was in a business meeting. So, the friend told him: "Son, you've interrupted me. I'm very busy. Why don't you ask your Mother?" The little boy looked up at his dad and replied:

"But Daddy, I don't want to know that much about it."

You know, as I travel around North America, I meet a tremendous number of

successful couples who have built large and prosperous Network Marketing

businesses. One interesting thing I find is that most of these successful enterprises were begun by the women. Once the men saw how great the business was, and when their wives started making more money than they were, the men quit their jobs and joined them. It happens all the time.

Success Stories

I've given you a number of reasons why Network Marketing is growing so rapidly, and I've listed a number of corporate success stories. But Network Marketing is not about the success of corporations. It's about the success of people just like you.

I have listened to literally thousands of such personal success stories. Each is

unique, yet they all have something in common: the men, women and families

involved have dramatically changed their lives through Network Marketing.

Rags to riches stories are always impressive. I've known people who were broke, bankrupt, who had no hope for the future - who then began their Network

Marketing businesses and, in a few short years, emerged earning an extraordinary income.

… People are accomplishing that every day. The truth is, if you've never made

anywhere near that kind of money, it's pretty hard to believe, especially when the person making that money is working part-time. But in this business, even if it sounds too good to be true, it really can be! …

magazine, 40 percent of their readers felt that an unexpected bill of $1,000 would be "a big problem." As a whole, Americans save only five percent of their income. 20 percent of us have absolutely nothing set aside.

Financially or otherwise, that's not freedom.

But for me, and for thousands and thousands of Network Marketers, additional

income is only one of the benefits of this business. Number one on the list is

personal growth.

Network Marketing literally transforms people's lives. Something special happens to people when they contribute directly to the success of others. Years drop away from their faces as self-centered concerns disappear. You have the opportunity to this business to master so many valuable life skills: listening, communication, public speaking, business, organization, friendship, finance, teaching, coaching, and more. And when you see man or woman, who six months before had zero self-esteem, get up in front of a room of people and speak with enthusiasm and confidence …

Well, that's when you realize just how powerful this business really is.

No matter who or where you are in life, Network Marketing can make you better.

In fact, I say that being the best in this business makes you the best in life!

Be a Business Owner that Own a System

With a quadrant than one of my mentors propounded (Robert Kiyosaki), he talked about a quadrant where the business owner that create system belong to.

Many small business owners believe they have a B business when what they really have is an S business. What’s the difference? The B-business owner owns a system, while the S-business owner owns a job. If an owner can leave a business for a year and come back to a stronger and more profitable operation, he or she is a B-business owner.

The advantages of business ownership do not come easily. B and I quadrant types face great risks and responsibilities. Not only their money and livelihoods but also other people’s are usually at stake. And starting or owning a business requires a strong mission, a good team, and leadership. The business owner/investor needs far more than good ideas; he or she also needs sales, accounting, and team-building skills, for the viability of the enterprise depends more on leadership and operating systems than on the product or service being sold. Those who master the art of solving business problems and creating business systems gain an advantage over investors who remain outside the enterprise. In the process of building a money-making business, insiders learn to better analyze the businesses of others—an important skill when it comes time to make additional investment decisions.

Types of businesses. There are several vehicles for owning or operating a business for income and profit. They differ in the amount of investment and sweat equity required.

· Franchising. When a corporation sells a franchise, it typically grants the buyer the exclusive right to sell its goods or services in a specified area. In exchange for a fee and usually a share of the profits, the company or franchisor provides the buyer or franchisee with its product or service, the use of its name, a business system, and sometimes training as well as advertising and marketing services. McDonald’s and KFC are examples of franchises. Franchises are tailor-made for people who don’t want to build a business from the ground up or who want hands-on training in all aspects of operating an enterprise before starting their own. The initial investment can be steep—leaders of the pack charge a million dollars or more for rights—but banks more readily fund franchises than small start-up businesses, because the former have proven track records.

· Network marketing. Also called direct-distribution systems, network marketing companies provide the investor or distributor with proven business systems. As with a franchise, the distributor buys the rights to distribute an existing product line but for a much lower fee, often around $200. Because network marketing relies on techniques such as personal demonstrations, Internet marketing, and sometimes direct mail or telemarketing rather than the usual retail sales outlets, overhead costs are much lower than in the retail trade. This saves the distributor large fees and the headaches of managing a storefront operation. In fact, distributors can work from home, using company software systems to process sales. The best network marketing companies offer not only quality products but also long-term educational programs that hone leadership, salesmanship and communication skills, helping gung-ho investors build a strong enough revenue base to generate passive income.

· Buying a business. Businesses are always coming on the market. For the investor who is financially literate, buying a pre-existing business that has positive cash flow, sound operating systems, and good name recognition can save the time and worry associated with starting a business from scratch.

· Starting a business. For those who have the drive and the start-up capital, or the connections to raise it, developing a business can be the ultimate investing experience. A business can take any number of forms offering different levels of investor/owner control and varying potential for gain. A sole proprietorship, for example, carries the highest risk and is seldom used by the professional investor. More than any other investment, starting a business requires an expert team of advisors.

On the 1st of July, 2011 A2W pre-launches an exciting phenomena called "Our Shop"!

For all who care to listen, we have informed you over and over again, that A2W Nigeria is yet to start. We will start officially on October 1, 2011 when we commemorate our 3rd anniversary. If you thought you understood the potentials and possibilities of A2W, think again. With "Our Shop". . . you haven't seen anything yet.

Follow us on this exciting vision with your imagination. In a few seminars around the country where we have shared this concept, the feedback below is an example of what we have usually received.

Imagine we all jointly have a shop called "Our Shop". Where will you rather shop? People shout "Our Shop!" Why will you buy from "Our Shop"? People answer - because it's our shop! Will you buy from another shop because it's cheaper? People shout - No!. We ask why? and they answer, because whatever price it is in "our shop", the profit still comes back to us. We ask, what if it is cheaper in our shop? They chorus answer, "then it makes it more definite that we will buy from our shop".

Now imagine that every time that you buy from our shop you get an opportunity to share 40% of the profits made on the purchase of that product and you also get to share 10% from the profits made from the purchases of members of your team. At this point, distributors can no longer contain their excitement and begin to clap.

Everyday, we all spend money on certain products. From recharge cards, to provisions, to groceries, to food and beverages, toiletries, electronics e.t.c. Imagine that we create a model where all these things can be in our shop. Networking Your Way to A New Financial Future

The type of business that is currently creating a great deal of interest and excitement among people from all walks of life is Network Marketing or

Multi-Level Marketing (MLM). Though the concept has been around for over 30 years, it's now attracting many people who never would have considered MLM before. Especially white collar workers and professionals. They're taking another look at this industry, because, after all, most of their businesses were built, and their financial bases created, by doing exactly what MLMers do - networking.

MLM may well be the "last frontier" for the entrepreneur with more moxie than money to start his or her own business. At the same time it gives the average person trying to "make it" on a salary, the opportunity to earn a second income in his or her own business, with relatively low risks. And now that we are facing massive lay-offs, firings, bankruptcies and unemployment, a low-cost, low-risk way to earn money is essential.

MLM/Networking Marketing has been evolving and changing continuously, and the 90s will be no exception. At one time, MLM was known as a "soap-selling" industry; then it evolved so that most consumables people buy in stores could be bought through MLM, especially nutrition and skin care products. In the 80s many non-consumables and major big-ticket items became available. Also in the 80s we saw services marketed through MLM. NOW something new has been added.

There are several companies that are using Network Marketing to help charities accomplish their worthy goals - such as taking care of the homeless, helping to feed the poor, cleaning up the environment etc.

Your Sponsor and Your Upline...

Once you've decided on your company, you want a sponsor who is actively

involved in your company to give you the help you need.

Sometimes your direct sponsor is new in the business, and that's fine as long as the person who sponsors him or her (called your "upline") will work with you.

It's vital that you can get the marketing materials and training you need. Since

most companies DON'T supply training (except in manuals most distributors don't read), your sponsor or upline must be willing to help you and train you, especially if you are new to MLM, or have not been successful in your other MLM efforts.

Your sponsor, or your upline, should be able to get you answers to your questions, and show you how to present your company's product or service, AND now to present the business opportunity. He or she should help you recruit new distributors form among your contacts, so you can build your downline organization. Since many companies do not have all the sales aids you are likely to need, it can be helpful to have a sponsor or upline who creates and/or duplicates necessary material for you to use with your people.

Some Additional Thoughts...

There are thousands of MLM companies to choose from. But only a few will be right for YOU. Once you've become a distributor, you are in business for yourself with all the advantages and risks of owning your own business. It may be a major undertaking where you will distribute a large line of products, or it may be a part-time involvement with a service company. It is still YOUR business. Perhaps you know that according to statistics, most small businesses fail (MLM and non-MLM alike). So what? As long as you live you're going to have to take risks if you want to move ahead. From the moment you wake up and decide to go out into the world, rather than stay in the relative safety of your home, you assume a risk.

Nothing great was ever accomplished without assuming risks. NO one ever changed his or her tomorrows by living life just as it was lived yesterday. If you have dreams of a better life - for yourself, your family, perhaps even for mankind - there is no better way to see them materialize than to commit yourself to taking that bold step forward.

In the words of Goethe (who is much quoted these days):

"Whatever you can do or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin it now!"

Some of the newer, simple inexpensive programs can help you "learn while you earn" (just don't confuse these programs with chain letters, where there are no centralized computers and no real product). This is an easy way to find out for yourself why so many millions of people are involved with MLM/Network Marketing, and find out for yourself if this industry is for you.

With the right company and the right upline, it probably is!

Finding the Right Opportunity with Network Marketing

Ask yourself this question several times over before getting into the network

marketing venture you will eventually choose –

“Why am I getting into network marketing?”

Unless and until that still small voice inside you says that you are getting into it for making money, you are not going to get a good start.

Think about it. Your network marketing venture is special because you are in this for the pure and sole reason for making money. Make this your utmost intention.

In the 21st century, with the high level of competitiveness all around, this pointhas become more poignant than ever.

Here is the mindset that you need to inculcate so that you make sure you are landing with the right opportunity for yourself.

You Are a Businessperson

Whatever name your company might use for you – distributor, sponsor, MLM leader – what you really need to know is that you are a businessperson, an entrepreneur. This might be a small business for now, but it has the potential to go as much ahead as you can dream.

So, what’s the position of the network marketing company you are collaborating with? No, it’s not your boss as you might think. It is your business partner.

This is what you need to keep in mind. You are partnering with this company to make your profits. The company needs you more than you need it. At least in the initial stages.

Get the Right Company

In order to ensure that you get the right network marketing company to partner with, these are the important things that you need to check out:-

What is their reputation? Do they have a great track record?
Are they permanent? It is a very good idea to check their history. If they are a long- standing company, you could almost bank on it.
Are they dynamic? You need a company that doesn’t mind planning out and implementing new ideas. Remember that in the 21st century, things are moving fast – too fast actually – and companies that remain stuck in the mud won’t do much.

2. Do not worry.

I heard recently that worry is the wrong use of the imagination. That is perhaps the best definition I have ever heard. Worry is just thinking about all of the bad possibilities, isn't it? Well, courage is just thinking about all the great possibilities and then acting upon them!

3. Do your homework.

It helps to get the facts. It helps because then you can make an informed decision that will put your heart and mind to rest. There will probably be a downside but we understand it, choose alternatives, and act decisively instead of those.

4. Act.

There is no substitute for the first step. Do you know what you want? Have you thought of the possibilities? Have you done your homework? Then what are you waiting for? The next step is to take the first step, and ACT!

Network Marketing - What Are the Benefits of MLM?

If we take a hundred people who graduate from college or university and we follow them through their career, The 45 year plan, at the end of their career here is what happens to them:

        29% are Dead
       63% depend on family or state (Dead broke)
      4% are well off (Can meet their needs and don't need charity)
     1% are wealthy (Living the lifestyle of their dreams)
This is the system we are living in right now by concluded market research. This economy is broken! Why is that the case? We have a University system that teaches you how to be a worker drone in the collective! You go to school and get an education, then you get a job and work in the 45 year plan and then you retire and live your golden years depending on other people. What a wonderful concept!
Let's explore this a little further. When you work for someone else as an employee your employer has what is called leverage on your time. They have to buy you at #960,000/pa and sell you at #1,600,000/pa. The corporation, the franchise, restaurant, whatever the entity/business is they have to make money on you. You live in what is known as the - TIME 4 MONEY TRAP. The more time you give your employer the more money you make. The less time you give your employer the less money you make. You work for 8 hrs you get paid for 8 hrs. You work 4 hrs, you get paid for 4hrs. If you are not there working you get nothing, it is LINEAR income. You are in a line of work without security! And probably a line of work you don't enjoy. Even if you are a highly paid consultant you are still considered to be in the time 4 money trap. If this is you then do keep reading.
So what is the answer?
There is an industry now that is creating more millionaires than any other industry around. It is a growth industry that is set probably to top any other in sales. It has done in the last few years $50 billion plus in sales of the most cutting edge technology, services and various products that never would have made it in the traditional method of business marketing. What is this industry? Network Marketing. You may say, "Oh no not MLM again!" and roll your eyes but ask yourself this question: "Am I completely satisfied with my lifestyle today and does it provide me with the opportunity to work half the year and take the other half of for extensive vacation?" If the answer is NO then you need to take a serious look at this business.
Network Marketing is a method of moving products and services from the manufacturer to the end consumer through the most powerful method of advertisement: Personal recommendation or "Word of Mouth". What do you do when a friend has seen a good movie and they tell you about it, you go see the movie! Now, what would happen if your friend was paid a royalty commission every time someone he has told goes and sees the movie, He would tell more people about the movie! Pyramid selling or Ponzi schemes are now illegal and have been for many years, Pyramid selling is related to scams where people where encouraged to join a money game with no legitimate products or lots of dodgy rip off stuff for large sums of money, usually thousands of pounds. And the money being made was from the joining fees of the victims who entered them. People where left feeling ripped off and bitter and avoided anything that smelt like these scams
What is your concept of a pyramid?
People at the top make all the money and the people at the bottom do all the work? Fact is nobody makes any money unless products are being used and reaching the end consumer. Take a typical corporation you have the CEO or MD at the top, then he/she have their first line of directors, the directors have all their first line managers, and the managers have all their supervisors, and the supervisors have a bunch workers who are doing all the work! Who is making the most money in that organisation? Any typical organisation has a pyramid structure.
What is a typical network?In a typical network marketing organization you are encouraged to build a network of distributors who have the same opportunity as you to make the same or even more money than you. Therefore, not everyone at the top necessarily makes the most money. This is a marketing system where you can start from the bottom and go to the top and become a top achiever within a company by building your own business. Promotion usually comes from encouraging distributors within your own organisation to achieve promotion, totally opposite from the corporate world where promotion usually threatens the higher positions within the company. Therefore you are in WIN-WIN situation for all parties involved with a network marketing company.
The Distribution Revolution!
There is a business paradigm shift that is changing the way a product gets to the end consumer. To know this concept you must first understand the traditional method of business. The following illustration shows the traditional method of distribution and the new method:
Every level in this old traditional model of distribution has to make a profit on the product that eventually gets to the end consumer. It's been said that a box of cereal you would buy in a supermarket for say, #550 the actual food cost is around #90. So that #460 is being wasted on the traditional method of distribution and some for packaging.
This new model of distribution frees up a lot of money. And we eliminate the warehouses, wholesaler, retailer and advertising budget that companies spend millions of pounds on. The money that was wasted in the old distribution model can now go to two areas –
1. You as a distributor
2. Product research and development.
You will see some of the most cutting edges, state of the art products that never would have made it to the market except through Network Marketing. Why is this? Because they have the money to put into research and development and the distributor force who become advocates of the products that may not be well known.

That is 206hrs more than you could achieve working six days a week 24hrs a day!!! Does that seem fair? It is absolutely fair. Cause this is what the wealthy know and implement!!
John Paul Getty the billionaire is quoted as saying, "I would rather have 1% of the efforts of a hundred people rather than 100% of my own effort" He understood this concept of leverage! And this is what we do in this business. We leverage the efforts of lots of business builders to create residual income from all the people we bring into the business.
These incomes that are being produced are very lucrative and very profitable. We have distributorships that are literally producing 80 and 90 percent profit margins. They can literally be worth tens of millions of naira when built up as profitable business and can be sold as that. There are distributors all over the world literally producing high 5, 6 and even 7 figure monthly incomes!! You say, "7 figures a month!" That's a Million! Even though that is quite exceptional it certainly is not unprecedented.

Buckets or Pipes?

This is a story I shared in a number of times with friends, and I think it’s only proper that I share it with you as well. I’m not certain exactly who owns the story, but I believe I have read it in one of Robert Kiyosaki’s books before. It’s an interesting story that connects with us in some little ways. It’s the story of our lives, and we can clearly see where we are in our journey.

It so happened that once upon a time, in a village somewhere in Africa. A new king ascended the throne, and felt it was the right thing to get water for his people. He decided to hire the services of two good young men to help deliver the promise of water to his people. He offered to pay them $10 per 25 litre bucket of water, and the two of them were excited about the possibilities.

The first day of work they both carried 10 pairs of buckets each. It was tedious and hard labor, but by the time they got their payment, they were excited all over again. They continued like this for one week, until one of the contractors called his colleague and told him that even though they were earning $200 per day, he did not feel that what they were doing was sustainable. He suggested to his colleague that rather than go to the stream to fetch water everyday, why not put forces together and develop a pipe that can run from the stream to the town.

The colleague however wanted none of that approach. Why will he leave the bird in hand and be hunting for two in the bush. Why should he reduce the number of buckets he can fetch today, and focus on a pipe that might fail, that might burst, and that might even be attacked by militants. Rather than take that risk, the bucket colleague continued to fetch his water. The pipe colleague decided to still carry about 4 buckets in a day to have some small cash, and focused his energies almost totally on constructing the pipes.

After 1 month, the pipe had gotten halfway. This ensured that the colleague who was developing the pipe didn’t need to travel as far as the bucket pusher to get more results and to still have time to focus on completing the pipes.

After three months, the pipe was completed. On the day it was launched, he was able to fill over 100 buckets of water. Now he doesn’t need to go anywhere anymore, the pipes just need to be open and he’ll earn.

The bucket pusher of course lost his job and had to apply to another village. His strength was also waning. He couldn’t go on vacation; he couldn’t really afford not to work for long. He doesn’t have time, he is busy, and he is a bucket pusher!

Before you criticize the bucket pusher too much, I have a few questions for you.

Can you afford to stop working for 3months or more?

God forbid you have a health issue that requires your resting for 6 months, does that thought frighten you?

Do you have income that does not require your input anymore to be made?

Do you have a system that you are working on that has the capacity to be a pipe for you?

Are you dimming your present to brighten your future?

Are you carrying buckets or building pipes

Don’t get this wrong, having your own business is not building pipes, so long as the business needs you everyday, the chances are high that you have a bucket carrying business. When you die, nobody can inherit your bucket carrying business, but someone can inherit your pipe. Carrying bucket can become sophisticated with the use of trucks or cranes, but so long as there is no system, or the system requires your regular input to survive, you are still carrying buckets!

Carrying buckets is a good start, in fact it’s were we all have to start if we are to make anything in the short term. There are creative ideas that can make the buckets you even carry worthwhile and effective. If you want to grow and become wealthy however, you need to start working on your pipes. Let me give you a few examples of what can constitute a pipe, and the characteristics to watch out for in a good piping system.

1. A real estate investment can be a good pipe system. It’s simple, you invest money and time in building a house, and you put it up for rentals. Even if you don’t work again, if you have enough of this type of investment, it continues to yield annually. If you live in a country where rent is paid monthly, you earn monthly. Like all pipes, there are some elements of risk. Risk here involves something major happens and people need to flee where your property is. There is a fire incident, a water incident or a natural disaster, or there is an economic meltdown and the value of property plummets. All good things however have risks, so it’s just understanding the worst and moving in faith in spite of it.

2. Investment in some stocks could be a piping system. There are a few companies in Nigeria that have attained the status of a full pipe for their owners. We have not experienced many company transitions from owner to manager. Any company you can trust to last long and still be around to pay dividends when you are no longer fit to work is a good pipe. All you need to do is build an investment profile that is big enough to make your dividends make sense. There may be lulls in the market on the short term, but to a person who is looking to build pipes there is no problem. There are people who enter the stock market with a bucket mentality, its fine. When these types of people seriously outnumber the pipe layers is when the economics begins to wobble. Investment in stocks is a time tested way of building a pipe. This also has its risk, the investment is in a business, and there is no business that is risk proof. It’s just that when all you are doing is carrying buckets, you are running a greater risk!

3. Network Marketing is another good piping system. Many of us have experienced the wrong type of Network Marketing. We have experienced companies that we didn’t know where not built to last. To know a network marketing opportunity that can build you a pipe, the design in place to make it last is crucial. If you ask me, I’ll say this offers the biggest piping potential amongst piping opportunities. Why, because in just a few months, or years, you can have a network that companies that have existed for 160yrs can’t boast of having. Imagine for example that you are in a network where you make one sale per month, and coach your direct report (downline) to do the same, things will grow slowly, but if this model of small activity is maintained in 20 months, you’ll have a network of over 1 million people. Even if it was one per year, and it took you 20yrs to build this network, it is well worth it. There are network marketing companies that are over 50yrs old currently, and some that are 10yrs and in between. Some of them have millions already in their network and some people are not actively involved anymore, but are earning obscene amounts per week. The upside of this is that the capital requirements are very small compared to the first two, and is augmented by work. The downside and risk in this, is that the NM Company may not last long, figuring out the DNA of a successful NM company is the required skill here.

4. Setting up your own business, and building systems to ensure that you can retire is a good system. I have a friend who worked for Procter and Gamble early in his working life, and I can say quite confidently that they have a good system. The company has existed of about 172yrs now, the owners have died, and their children too, but the company continues to yield returns for members of the Procter and Gamble family and many of the people who invested in the business along the way. Setting up a systemic business requires a lot of commitment, and hard work. It’s never an overnight success; it takes patience, perseverance and keeping one’s hopes alive. You contend with the speed of advancement of technology, with your environment, with changing times and changing policies, but if you build a business in an area that is your passion, you have a joyful ride all the way. Failure doesn’t move you, success doesn’t relax you. What you want is more than the results; even the journey itself is appealing to you. People have built businesses that took care of them and it’s a good pipe building option. The downside is, business is a risk and you may fail a few times before you succeed. I however do not know anyone who ever succeeded in something he/she never tried.

Are you carrying buckets or are you building pipes?

Are you winding down your buckets for the pipes you are building? Or are you too busy with the demands of the buckets that you are not thinking about pipes.

Don’t be foolish, the characteristic that qualifies the ants as an example of wisdom, is their ability to live today, with tomorrow in mind. We have said that fear is not enough to stop you, we have said you chose the game that you play, and we have said a lot of things about a lot of things.

Don’t miss out the essence. You are a spectator if the words touch you and there is no action. You are a player if the words make your game better.

There are a number of pipes that I am building at the moment that you can be a part of if you want. We are not running beyond ourselves, we are taking it slowly as we have come to understand the value of patience and gradual, sustainable growth. We don’t need superstars, just level headed people who are willing to dim the present a little to brighten the future

I have learnt from both my successes and my failures, and I’m much better off in action than someone who is afraid of failing.

We all grew up as young children full of dreams. We wanted to become this, to have that, and to go everywhere. When we saw an aircraft on TV, we wanted one, when we saw a big house, we dreamt we would own it, we even fantasized about the definition of beauty that the media had sold to us. If every anything we were dreamers, our imaginations ran ahead of our realities, we wanted more from life than mere existence. We had big dreams, and somehow in our minds, we were unstoppable. We had the dreams, and we didn’t disqualify ourselves by thinking we were too small or the dreams too big.

As we grow up, our dreams grow with us, but somewhere along the line, many of us lose the youthfulness to dream. We are so caught up in waking up early, spending quality time in traffic, coming back late, that we have lost our dreams. We have become realists, we face the facts rather than the possibilities, we live the lives of drugged zombies, repeating the same routine day in day out, and hoping for the “one day”. If it is true, that repeating the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is insanity, and then we might indeed need to submit ourselves to some form of psychiatric counselinge. Some of us however have dreams; we still nurse them, still hold them dear and are working towards them.

The question for you today is “What is your dream?” What is the compelling reason that motivates you to action? I watched a video presentation yesterday that inspired me and there was something the speaker said that really got my attention. He said, and I phrase in my own words, “A business opportunity is like a Ferrari, it’s a lovely car. We might however spend undue time looking at it and touching it. If you don’t know where you are going however, any car is useless”.

Nothing happens unless first we dream

Does it not seem interesting to you, that many of us have entered different CAReerS without setting our destination? Many of us got into many good pipe building systems without any dreams. I’m not asking about hazy thoughts of wanting a better life, I’m asking for concrete and specific desires that are tangible and documented. This may sound funny, but if you think about it, you’ll possibly arrive at the same conclusion with me - If you don’t have a dream for anything, you will not excel at anything. It’s not the quality of the car that matters, or the potentials or capacity of the same. What matters is do you know where you are going? Speed only makes sense when direction is clear.

A man’s dreams are an index to his greatness

Before you involve yourself in any business - franchising, network marketing, direct selling, first of all identify with your dream. Write it down, and then break it down.

What milestones do you want to achieve?

What things do you want?

Who do you want to become?

If the dream is not compelling, then there is no motivation. The people that succeed the most in any business opportunity are the ones with strong reasons and clearly expressed dreams. The recipe for getting tired, frustrated or bored is not to have something to look forward to.

Two people with equal talents but with different dreams will arrive at different destinations. When you see a man or woman that has a compelling reason, the passion, the excitement and a positive mental attitude become add-ons. When you see another complaining and acting powerless to do anything, it’s easy to conclude that there either no dream, or the one he or she has is sketchy at best. Dreams are basic, some call it goals, others vision. Don’t board any vehicle, without clarifying where y

I can almost guarantee ultimate failure in whatever venture you go into without clarity about your dreams. In the same breath, I can almost guarantee success however, if you have a dream even if you neither have talent nor gold.

Dreams are like stars… you may never touch them, but if you follow them they will lead you to your destiny.

“Your dream is something you want, that you are willing to pay any price to achieve it. It’s something that lingers in your mind, something that can compel you to action”. Most times it’s not as if we don’t harbor these thoughts once in a while, we only sometimes stop believing.

Do you have dreams?

Do you want to see the world?

Do you want to build your own house?

Do you want to buy that car?

Do you want to buy your own house?

Do you want your kids in the best schools?

Do you want to go on vacation thrice a year?

Do you want to be a global player?

Will you reach a million people?

Will you win awards?

Do you want a golf course?

Do you want to be Governor?

Do you want an orphanage?

Do you want an island?

Do you have anything you are living for?

What are your dreams?

The first thing we do during cash flow 101 is choose our dreams. Take these thoughts, and document them. Keep a copy in your wallet, keep a copy in your room, keep it on your laptop. Give a copy to your mentor, send me one too if you think I can hold you accountable, make sure you see it daily! If your dream is not real to you, clear to you, and around you, it’s not likely going to happen.

Share Capital Investment (Multiples of N50,000)
The share capital investments are what the club will use for capital investments for short term and long term return on investment. While the Savings is for members to get loans and for a few small time easily cashable opportunities. The windows for investment into the cooperative are every 3 months. If you miss payment in July for August the next time you have is October.

Share Capital Maximum Guidelines
Paid Affiliates can invest a maximum of N100,000
Bronze Distributors can have a maximum of N200,000
Silver Distributors can have a maximum of N1,000,000
Gold Distributors can have a maximum of N5,000,000

The Cooperative Made Easy

Here are a few things you need to know about the cooperative.

You make two types of payments. One is Savings - paid monthly and the other is a one off (or any other time you want to) investment for Share Capital.
Savings

The Savings is paid monthly and can be between N5,000 and N500,000 monthly. Decide to start with what you know you can sustain.
The savings is yours, it's money you are saving for yourself. It is the savings that gives you access to loans. After contributing for 6 months, you can access up to double your savings based on your guarantors savings.
You can only get loans after 6 months of payment, paying ahead or paying for months skipped will count as one month.

Share Capital Investment

The Share capital investment starts off at N1000 per share, and you can invest as much as you want. This is invested in property and other options. As the investment appreciates the new value of the share is made known. Subsequent buyers will buy at present value of Shares.
Dividends will be declared twice a year based on earnings on the Share Capital.
Monies kept in the share capital can be cashed if other members are willing to buy them out or by giving due notice to cooperative and other terms upheld in the byelaws of the cooperative.
The minimum number of shares any member may buy is 50 units.
The windows for investment into the cooperative are every 3 months. If you miss payment in July for August the next time you have is October

Timings

To lock in savings for August, saving must be made before July 30. Any payment made by August 1 will be captured in September.
For Share Capital Investment, money will only be taken after a 3 months sequence. If you miss August, you cannot invest again until November.

Nine years ago, I was a schoolteacher teaching for 23 years and going now where slowly. I had job security and too afraid to venture out. My wife and I heard about Holidays and Cash coincidentally from a colleague after we'd just given him a promotional DVD of a business presentation from another company.
